Features and Functionality
This cylinder leak down tester is designed for petrol engines and simplifies the process of performing leak down tests. It is used to diagnose and detect a range of common engine faults including worn piston rings, worn or leaking valves, cracks in cylinder walls, and blown head gaskets.
The dual gauge setup provides both cylinder pressure and leakage percentage readings. A rubber protective boot surrounds the gauges to reduce the risk of breakage from shock or impact. The kit is suitable for use on most petrol engines and is ideal for modern vehicles with minimal clearance.
The tester includes a 2-1/2 inch input pressure gauge for accurate leakage setup and reliable results.
