OBDSTAR RH850/V850 Adapter

The RH850/V850 Adapter is a kit of connectors and decryption jumpers that works alongside the OBDSTAR MP001 programmer on the DC706 to unlock MQB all-keys-lost, airbag reset, dash, BCM and ELV work that the MP001 can't do on its own.

If you're already running a DC706 with the MP001 kit and doing key programming or airbag reset work on VW Group, Ford, Nissan/Renault or FCA vehicles, this adapter is what gets you into those modules.

Description

The MP001 programmer handles the read/write/clone side of things, but a lot of the late model VW MQB, Ford and Nissan modules use encrypted data that needs a dedicated decryption path. That's what this adapter is for.

On MQB platforms it covers dashboard variants like D70F3529, D70F3537, D70F3525, D70F3526, D70F3532 and D70F3535, plus ELV data on the same platform, so you're not stuck pulling the steering lock apart to get a key programmed after an all-keys-lost job.

Heads up on limitations: MED17.1.27, MED17.1.62, MED17.16, MG1CS001, MG1CS111, MG1CS011 and SIMOS16 aren't supported, and MQB49-5C (ID5C) is still in development at time of writing. FCA coverage is also still being rolled out. Check your specific ECU/BCM part number with us before you buy if you're chasing a specific job.
