Shock Pro is a portable, high-accuracy suspension tester designed to measure rebound performance and identify worn or degraded suspension systems. Developed for use with the Workshop Pro tablet, Shock Pro provides real-time data, intuitive app integration, and reliable test results based on damping ratio calculations.
Shock Pro works by measuring the rebound force of a vehicle’s suspension during a controlled stop. The device is mounted directly onto the suspension system, and as the vehicle moves forward and comes to a stop, Shock Pro captures data using a high-accuracy load cell sensor (±2%).
This data is used to calculate the damping ratio, which indicates how well the suspension system is absorbing energy and controlling bounce. A low damping ratio can signal worn or degraded suspension components, which may affect handling, stability, and braking performance.
The results are sent wirelessly to the Workshop Pro tablet, where they are displayed in the Shock Pro App as a clear, visual graph. This allows technicians to quickly assess suspension condition and explain findings to customers with confidence.
