Features and Functions

Built-in Pressure Monitoring System
The AUTOOL AST609 features a pressure monitoring system with an adjustable range from 0.6 to 3.0 bar. The pressure can be controlled using the built-in adjustment knob. If air enters the pump or the pressure fails to establish, the system automatically shuts down to prevent damage. The 1000ml recovery bottle fits neatly into the machine body for convenient handling and portability.

Pulsating Fluid Exchange System
Unlike conventional compression brake bleeders, the pulsating fluid exchange technology in the AST609 prevents air bubbles from forming during the bleeding process. This ensures smoother fluid replacement and reduces the need for manual air removal, resulting in a cleaner and more consistent brake system service.

Powerful Fluid Recovery Function
The AST609 is equipped with an integrated recovery system that quickly extracts used brake fluid while refilling new fluid simultaneously. The built-in water-separating and filtering device at the air inlet prevents moisture contamination, ensuring the purity of the brake fluid throughout the process.

Designed to streamline the brake fluid replacement process, the AST609 allows one technician to complete a full fluid exchange efficiently. Once the working parameters are set, the machine automatically handles the refill and extraction process, saving time and reducing manual labour.

Operation Steps

1. Pour new brake fluid into the filling bottle.

2. Connect the suction and pressure balance hoses to the filling bottle.

3. Attach the filling hose to the vehicle’s brake fluid cylinder using the appropriate adapter.

4. Connect the recovery bottle to the brake fluid sub-cylinder.

5. Select Standard or Master Mode, press start, and allow the exchange to complete.

There is no need to start the vehicle during operation.

Pressure Adjustment

From the factory, the working pressure is set between 1.0 and 1.5 bar to maintain proper sealing without damaging the brake master cylinder. The pressure can be adjusted based on requirements but should not exceed 3.0 bar to prevent potential system damage. Lower pressures may also be used for more delicate systems.
