Motorcycle TPMS System With Bluetooth Sensors Tyre Pressure Monitoring for Motorbikes

Product Features

  • High Quality: This motorcycle Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) ensures top performance under harsh the Australian conditions.
  • Dynamic Monitoring: Continuously monitors tyre pressure and temperature to improve fuel efficiency, extend tyre life, and enhance driver safety.
  • Long Battery Life: Bluetooth-compatible external sensors boast a long-lasting battery life of approximately 3-5 years.
  • Easy Operation via App: Compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher, the TPMS can be managed through an app available for both iOS and Android. Ensure to grant location permissions during Bluetooth scanning for optimal functionality.
  • High Accuracy: Equipped with two waterproof, anti-corrosion, and anti-theft sensors that offer precise real-time monitoring of pressure and temperature.
  • Simple Setup: Install in just 10 minutes:
    1. Remove tyre valve caps and place anti-theft screws.
    2. Install the outer sensor on the tyre valve.
    3. Hold the sensor and tighten the anti-theft screw.

Warnings

  • Supports mobile phones with Bluetooth 4.0 or above. Lower versions are not compatible. Some Android phones may experience slight data transmission delays due to hardware variations.
  • Always prioritise safety and avoid distractions from the app while driving.
  • If tyre pressure changes rapidly, stop immediately and inspect the tyre.
  • While the TPMS can read pressure and temperature, it cannot prevent sudden tyre issues like blowouts. Always use high-quality tyres.
  • Very minor tyre pressure loss over time is normal and unrelated to the product installation.

Outer Sensor Installation

  • Each sensor has a unique ID code. Ensure each sensor is installed on the correct tyre valve.
  • When tightening the sensor, open the app, select "Auto Pair," and press the "Search" button to bind the sensor.

Attention

  • Follow the installation marks and use corresponding tools (screws and wrench) for sensor installation or removal.
  • After installation, check for any tyre leakage.

Motorcycle TPMS review

Recently, I purchased the Motorcycle TPMS System With Bluetooth Sensors Tyre Pressure Monitoring for Motorbikes from PDE. The setup/installation instructions were reasonably easy to follow, albeit in sometimes a bit confusing wording. The bottom line is, it works with a big "BUT": It seems the update rate is only once every minute, or so. Certainly not like every few seconds. I've also observed the front sensor updating and the rear did not, not even after waiting for a second update from the front. I also have a security concern: the app for Android insists I have to keep location services on all the time. I find that weird, why? Is the Chinese manufacturer keeping track of my location? I have the app installed on an iPad as well, and there the continuous location services is not required, but when I ride I carry the Android phone and not the iPad. I don't like that feeling of being continuously watched by the CCP!

TPMS

Easy install but too early to tell if accurate and consistent.
